European International Contractors (EIC)
EIC represents 16 construction industry federations from 15 European countries and promotes the international interests of the European construction industry in all questions relating to construction activity abroad. This association is registered under German law in Wiesbaden, Germany.

European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA)
EFCA was founded in May 1992 when the former CEBI (Comité Européen des Bureaux dIngénierie) and the CEDIC (Comité Européen Des Ingénieurs Conseils) merged. It is a European federation representing engineering consultancy and related services comprising of 26 national associations from 20 European countries. Its aim is to represent the interests and to promote the image of engineering consultancy. This site contains background information on the organisation and its activities.

Federación Panamericana de Consultores (FEPAC)
FEPAC is the Pan-American Federation of the National Associations of Consulting Companies in the Americas. It promotes the development of consulting services and their market and facilitates exchange and reciprocal cooperation with organisations in related sectors. The FEPAC site contains information about its main activities and structure, in both English and Spanish.

United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Industry and Environment Centre
This site provides information about UNEP IEs major activities and initiatives: preventaion of industrial accidents and minimisation of their impacts; environmental management and pollution control; environmenally-sustainable tourism; preventative strategies for cleaner and more efficient production; environmental technology assessment; outreach to industry to stimulate dialogue and initiatives on sustainable development; protection of the stratospheric ozone layer; and sustainable energy production and consumption.

Functions: Administering WTO trade agreements; forum for trade negotiations; handling trade disputes; monitoring national trade policies; technical assistance and training for developing countries; cooperation with other international organisations.
